Through their integrated approach Okane demonstrated that the company could reduce its closure costs by moving themined rock a few kilometers farther, incrementally increasing haulage cost, but significantly decreasing the long-termcosts of treating the ARD. Okane’s proven process provided the client with substantial long-term savings.
